Group Contacts in Windows Live mail
Is it possible to create Group Contacts and if so how?Thanks Jim McColl

Doesnt Windows Live Mail use the contacts feature built into Windows 7? If so, you can create a Contact Group in your Windows 7 contacts and use that.

Windows 7 Contacts does not provide for group id's at least as far as I can see. There does not appear to be any functionality supporting creation of a group. If you know differently, I would really apprciate if you could tell me how this worksThanks

Thanks Darren - Exactly what I am trying to do. I don't see how I can do it within Window mail however. As far as I can see I need to open the Contacts folder outside of Windows Mail. However, upon further inspection looking at the "help" for Windows Mail I see that a category is the same as a group, so it appears you can create groups within Window mail except they are not called groups now they are called categories. Sorry for delay in responding, we have been away. I also note that when I imported my contacts from Outlokk it did not bring existing groups accross.Thanks again for you helpRegards jim
