Got Uverse, got a problem: networking
I got AT&T Uverse and now one of my two desktops can't access files on the other. One still can. (I had to set up the network all over again) The computer recognizes the workgroup but won't let me access it, saying I may not have permission. The desktops are connected by Eithernet to the residential gateway and both are running XP SP3. I guess I can eliminate the workgroup and start over but I'm afraid I'll wind up with neither one being able to access other files. Is there a way to troubleshoot myself out of the mess? AT&T Tech Support is nonexistent.1 person needs an answerI do too
