God Mode for Windows 7
I work for a school system and getting ready to deploy Windows 7. In our testing, God Mode has become a problem. I am looking for ways to block students from creating God Mode shortcut and accessing it.
We do use GPO to lock the machine down.

Hi,
If you have used GPO to lock the computer down, students won't have permission to change the configuration through God Mode. I'm afraid there is no method to block students from creating God Mode.

Hi,
I stumbled across this thread and i also work in a school. So i decided to have a little play. If you lock the control panel settings etc down through GPO then they dont have the permissions as per Niki Hans comment. for a while i got a bit nervy :)MyPchealth

I locked down the machine with GPO and created GodMode. Sure enough, the Group Policy do not override. Thanks god!
