Give modify rights to the root of C: to local users windows 7
I have an app that writes a temp file to the root of the C drive. If I am not mistaken Windows 7 & Vista has
access to the root of C: virtualized, so modifying user rights does nothing at the root.
I am wondering if anyone had any success making changes to the user right using Microsoft Application Compatibility
Toolkit 5.6?
Thanks

Hi,
It should be a by-designed feature which cannot be modified via ACT.
I suggest running ACT as administrator to check the result. You can refer to the following article.
