Getting rid of current wireless network connection so that I can set up a new connection using the same IP address.
Here is my problem: I got a new computer and a wireless network connection was set up and I was able to get onto the internet. My daughter then wanted to try out her new computer and somehow her computer got set as the network and I can no longer connect to the internet using my computer. The second part of my problem is that when I try to set up my computer, I get the message that I need to go to Micro knowledge base and read article 871122. I have done that. Following the directions for having Windows configure my wireless settings, I get as far as the Step of Network Connections - go to change settings of this connection network. It says that I should go to the Wireless Network Tab. There is no Wireless Network Tab that I can tell to use Windows to configure my network connections..I know this is long, but can anyone help. I am using Windows XP Prof 2002 version with service pack 3. Thank you adpotate
