Hi Jmoss66257, 1. When exactly are you getting this message ?2. Did you try updating any drivers or making any changes to the computer recently? Startup application SynTPLpr.exe is the TouchPad Driver Helper Application from Synaptics. SynTPLpr.exe is installed on laptop computers that have touchpads to provide additional configuration and support. But SynTPLpr.exe is not essential to the use of the touchpad.Step 1:You may try booting in safe mode and check if the issue occurs.Refer the below link for more details on starting your computer in safe mode:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222 If you are not facing any issues in safe mode, then you may need to uninstall and reinstall any Synaptics drivers installed on the system.Step 2:Uninstall and reinstall the Synaptics drivers.a. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.b. Double-click System, click Hardware, and then click Device Manager.c. Click the PLUS SIGN to expand the Deviced. Double-click the Synaptics driver.e. On the Driver tab, click on Uninstallf. Restart the computer and checkHope this information is helpful.
