Getting MBAM client to encrypt the drive at deployment without user interaction
I believe this is the answer you are looking for, with thanks to David Hornbaker: Using MBAM to start BitLocker Encryption in a Task Sequence: http://blogs.technet.com/b/deploymentguys/archive/2012/02/20/using-mbam-to-start-bitlocker-encryption-in-a-task-sequence.aspx

Hi guys, I'm testing MBAM for deployment and need some input on how to get the client to start encryption in computers already deployed. The setup is the following, Computer has been deployed with Windows 7 Enterprise. MBAM server is in place and working, manual encryption also works ok. Now I need to deploy the MBAM client to workstations with Configuration Manager and I'd like encryption to start immediately when the client is installed without prompting the user anything. Is this possible?Mats Hellman | My Blog: http://www.nixadmins.net| Twitter: Mats_Hellman | LinkedIn Mats Hellman |

Yes, the MBAM reg entries did the trick. The actual trouble on theese particular systems were the TPM chip. It was activated but the Endorcement keys were missing. *sigh*Mats Hellman | My Blog: http://www.nixadmins.net| Twitter: Mats_Hellman | LinkedIn Mats Hellman |
