Get-NetAdapterStatistics not showing the actual ethernet adapter

Hi

I have Windows 8 machines who are all unable to display the network statistics for the ethernet connection. When I run Get-NetAdapter the correct interfaces are listed, but not when I run the Get-NetAdapterStatistics command. However, when i run this command on a Windows 8.1 machine it works.

Any ideas where I can start troubleshooting. The interfaces are up and there are no hypervisors installed.

Hi,

In Windows 8, the command Get-NetAdapter is use to get the basic network adapter properties. And the command Get-NetAdapterStatistics is use to find network adapter statistics.

Hi

I ran the same commands in your screenshot and only have the wi-fi listed. However when i run get-netadapter is includes the ethernet interface as well as the wi-fi one.

I would give you a screenshot but the machine has gone for imaging. For future reference I would have to solve the problem.
