Generic Host Error - Win32
I've been unable to log onto my internet connection consistently for the past two weeks. Here's what happens: I log on to my computer I attempt to access the internet Either "limited or no connectivity" or no connectivity at all I restart my computer Either "limited or no connectivity" or no connectivity I shut down my computer anywhere from 1-15 minutes I turn on my computer Generic Host Win32 error message comes up asking if I want to report or not (I always say no, although now I'm thinking I should select yes) I am now able to connect to the internet Usually, I have to go through this entire process just to access the internet and I can't figure out what the problem is. It's not my router because the problem occurs whether I'm using the router or connected directly to the modem. I've tried disabling and enabling the wireless and LAND networks and that doesn't work. I've reset both the modem and router multiple times and it has no affect. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the problem, but every now-and-then I'll get a message advising that I need to update LELA 3.1. I did some research and saw that it is for the Linksys router I have and so I clicked to update, but my internect explorer and ATT security says it may be fraud and not to enter any information, so I stopped it right there and didn't proceed any further. Please help, I don't know what else to do. Right now I'm running Norton for antivirus and it's not picking anything up. thanks1 person needs an answerI do too
