General wireless comment
OK.. Not to sound like a smart#$$, but, there seems to be an over abundance of issues just getting Win7 to recognize the various wireless adapters, esspecially USB adapters, that everyone has. Even the Vista drivers don't work most of the time. I'm thinking that this is perhaps an area that hasn't been paid a lot of attention to yet. I have a number of wireless USB adapters and of course can't get any of them to work, even when there appears to be a driver in the Windows list, when you install the hardware. Anyway, my SA comment is also my work-around.. Since most people playing with/testing/etc. Win7 are more than likely doing it on a different system than their primary one, just set up an ICS "bridge" with the machine that does have a working network connection. It might require you to use a switch, or perhaps a cross-over cable, but it works great for now... Just my .02 worth. No flaming please, I'm just trying to be helpful with a work-around.
