Hi I am having a small "annoyance" I recently got the RTM version of W7 ( I installed the Ultimate version ) everything seems fine, but on every reboot my gateway just dissapears. ( well the one on my main internet connection ) I have tried going to the network adapter, I have set it manually, set the metric to 1 just in case ( also tried with automatic metric ) but the gateway still dissapears as If I have never written it in the first place. Any Ideas on how to fix this ? Hi, I know that the default gateway disappears after restarting, no matter the default gateway is assigned automatically or manually. I suggest you reset your router first and install the latest version of the network adapter driver for Windows 7.
