Gateway netbook suddenly refuses to connect to internet or troubleshoot...
I've had my computer for about three months and all of a sudden it won't connect to the internet or troubleshoot. I'm at my wit's end and completely confused as to how the heck to fix it. Please help me, I have a term paper due in a week and I need this to work...

Hi, I would like to verify if you received any error message. You can perform system restore before three months ago. If it doesn't fix the issue, please try the following methods. 1. Update the latest driver of your network adapter from computer manufacture manually. http://support.gateway.com/product/ Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. 2. If any router is used, bypass or reset it. 3. Verify TCP/IP configuration via http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-TCP-IP-settings 4. Use antivirus to scan for the computer and perform clean boot for a test. 5. Try the Safe Mode with networking. If the issue persists, please open CMD, type ipconfig /all and paste the result here. Best Regards, Niki Please remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
