Gamma Resets
Hi All, I have recently upgraded from vista to Win 7. I have a problem with the display settings specifically with the Gamma settings. Every time I change the gamma settings and log off, hibernate, shutdown, or restart the settings RESET to the default settings. Is there any way to fix this problem? All my gfx drivers are updated. I am running a sony vaio. Intel 2 Duo 2.1, 4096MB RAM DirectX 11. This is really getting frustrating as I am heavy into digital photography and need my monitor to be properly calibrated. Solutions, suggestions, comments are welcome. Much thanks.

The issue can be related to the display card and its driver. Please contact the display card manufacturer to confirm if there is any known issues. In the meantime, access Clean Boot to see if the issue is related to third party software or certain service. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, we continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue. I have just resolved this problem myself on my Sony Vaio (after weeks of adjusting it every time I fire up the computer). Just do the following:- start > run > msconfig > startup > uncheck igfxpers.exe
