Game Server port forwarding
So I would just like some help on how to port-forward my machine so I could host a server for my game, I have a wi-fi router (linksys WRT54G2) and i have already forwarded its ports to 25565 but I run my server and my friends cant connect, i also check it on websites that check for open ports but they still say my port 25565 is closed Any help would be highly appreciated! Add-on information: CPU Specs: Windows 7 Home Basic nVidia GeForce GT220 Intel CPU G630 2.70 Ghz Linksys WRT54G2

Hi, For Windows 7, Forwarding the needed ports through the Firewall/Router means Unblocking them from being Closed. The ports numbers have to be forwarded in the Router, and be allowed through the software Firewall. As for Routers, the instructions depends on the specific Router that you have (the manual might be helpful). This site is the champion of port forwarding for Routers, Hope this helps.
