Game Server port forwarding
So I would just like some help on how to port-forward my machine so I could host a server for my game, I have a wi-fi router (linksys WRT54G2) and i have already forwarded its ports to 25565 but I run my server and my friends cant connect, i also check it on websites that check for open ports but they still say my port 25565 is closed Any help would be highly appreciated! Add-on information: CPU Specs: Windows 7 Home Basic nVidia GeForce GT220 Intel CPU G630 2.70 Ghz Linksys WRT54G2

Hi, For Windows 7, Forwarding the needed ports through the Firewall/Router means Unblocking them from being Closed. The ports numbers have to be forwarded in the Router, and be allowed through the software Firewall. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Open-a-port-in-Windows-Firewall As for Routers, the instructions depends on the specific Router that you have (the manual might be helpful).
