Gaining access to Outlook 2010 data storage folders
I've recently upgraded to Outlook 2010. I find my backed up *.pst files in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.
That file, however, will not make itself available to me. I do need the information in those prior pst's. Any method for changing the default data folder? Thx

1. Hope you started with removing all previous versions of Outlook.
2. Changing default(s) in Office 2010 should be done in Outlook properties and settings.

The default location for Outlook 2010 data files in Windows 7 is C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Outlook Files.
Copy your old pst files to that location.
