Hi all, I have a Compaq laptop that was already installed with Windows 7, thus, it came with gadgets. However, after about a month or so? The gadgets have stopped working and all that appears is a message saying that they have stopped working and windows needs to shut the gadgets down. I've tried uninstalling or opening gadgets but qhwn i try to, the message still appears, i have tried all the suggested things, like the run command and something about regedit.exe? and still this problem proceeds... HELP ME PLEASE! :]

Hi, Remove Windows Gadget Platform in “Turn on Windows Features on or off” and select it again. If the issue persists, I suggest to perform an In-place Upgrade. Or you can try system restore.
