GPU compatibilty
I have a Nvidia Geforce Go 6150 GPU in my HP pavillion.  I am running Windows 8.1 Pro and it works perfectly.  Windows 10 upgrade says it is incompatible.  MS told me that when I put 8.1 on my machine it would not work.  BUT! it did. I am running Nvidia Driver 307.68.  Does Win 10 really require a different GPU?  Do you think it may just work ok? or not?

Hi,

Please see this:

The Reserve app is buggy and its reporting some incorrect information.
Please ignore it, as long as you meet the minimum requirements, you should be
fine.

If you want to upgrade to Windows 10 on your PC or tablet, heres what it
takes.

1. Latest OS: Make sure you are running the latest version either Windows 7
SP1 or Windows 8.1 Update.

2. Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC

3. RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit

4. Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS

5. Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver

6. Display: 1024x600

And also, I noticed that the motherboard is compatible with Windows 10:

So its ok to upgrade to Windows 10.

Best Regards

Simon
