Frequently loosing network connection and have to reset network adapter possibly due to large bandwidth use.
Hardware/SoftwareInternet provider is Roadrunner/Time Warner Cable.I am connected directly to a D-Link DSS-16+ 16 port 10/100 switch apx 75 feet away. 8 devices (7 pc + 1 MFP) are connected to this switch. Switch is connected to D-Link router whici is connected to cable modem.Motherboard is XFX nForce 780i 3-Way SLI. Chipset is Nvidia nForce 780i SLI SPP.Processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale.Network Adapter is Nvidia nForce 10/100/1000 with FirstPacket disabled.OS is Win 7.ISSUEI lose intern connectivity if I attempt two or more processes that require substantial bandwidth. For example, if I try to load a video on YouTube while downloading songs from iTunes I lose my internet conection and have to reset the network adapter via the Network and Sharing Center interface.Thoughts? Thanks

Hi, Is "Local Area Connection" still connected when Internet connection is lost? Does the issue occur on other machine? This issue can occur by incompatible third party programs, virus or incorrect network settings. I suggest you perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue. 1. Bypass the Switcher and Router, and then connect to the cable modem directly for a test. Does the issue still occur when loading a video and downloading file? 2. Upgrade the NIC driver. 3. Temporarily turn off firewall and antivirus program. 4. Restart the machine in Safe Mode with Networking. In this mode, please loading video on YouTube and downloading song again. Hope this helps. Thanks, Novak
