Frequent Blue Screen of Death... at least 3 per day. Crashes every 5 mins when laptop is on login screen. Please help!
My laptop just crashes randomly when I'm using it. It's frustrating, and it costs me a lot of time. When it's booting my keyboard becomes unresponsive so I have to wait for the countdown to run out (can't just hit enter into boot normally). Sorry for requesting help as this is my first post, but I'm really getting annoyed at this. It's been going on for quite some time. If you guys can solve this problem, thank you very much. If there is any other information you guys need, please tell me. Might be helpful to note that I never had this many bluescreens ever. I bought this laptop 2 years ago and it's been performing fine until about 5 weeks ago. I get about 3 bluescreens per day right now. I am also experiencing a slowdown issue when my computer boots up. Sometimes the mouse just kinda.. i'm not sure how to describe it. It becomes really laggy, and I guess if you were playing a video game it'd be like my framerate dropping to about 8 fps. Every time I click there's a beep, and every time I move my mouse there is a series of beeps. My laptop just BSOD'd again. Said something about Win32.sys or something, I can't find the dump file.. Also files don't seem to be dumping every time it bluescreens. Hi zRebellion There are a lot of ways this could happen, Most of the time windows will you an idea of what the problem might be (in this case you mentioned something about Win32.sys ), 1 . What is your laptop Make / Mole? 1. what windows is your laptop runing on? version? 2. is the CPU runing at normal speed? if its runing very high you should be able to hear usual noise, + the laptop will start to heat up, (if you dont have a warrently you could try to open up the machine to check if there a dust blocking the fan)

You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked. You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked. Type Device Manager in the Search box above the Start button and press ENTER. Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? If yes what is the Device Error code. To see Hidden Devices (Non Plug and Play Drivers) you need to select View, Show Hidden Devices. It is necessary to do this every time you open Device Manager if you need to see them.
