Freecom Network Drive: Can't map the drive so no drive letter is assigned.
I'm having difficulty connecting to my 250GB Freecom Network Drive (Model no. SSLABC)usingWindows 7 RC.I had the same problem with Windows 7 Beta. I have set up shared folders and been given a code too (for the network). I can get into the Network Drive OK. When you open the mapped drive page it is blank. There is no list of drives to choose. Therefore I can't assign a drive letter to it. Is there another way to do it? Freecom hadn't any experience of Windows 7 yet. I can access the drive through it's http:// adress but can't access any data on the drive itself.

try the following. Ip using internet explorer or ping the ip. the go fast to windows explorer (fresh starting from the program) if you see the drive map it. it works for me with freenas and linux network drives. it is only ones to setup then it is perfect automatic. Greetings from Greece

Did you try mapping by IP address instead of the network name?
