I am trying to format C: from the win 7 CD command prompt. it ask me for the current volume label for drive C: It is OS When i enter it it is saying it's the wrong label I have win 7 loaded but is is a mess i need to format and reload. Help lol

By booting off the W7 DVD you should be able to do a new install and by watching the screen there will be the option to format your C drive before the new install peter -- If you find a posting or message from me offensive,inappropriate or disruptive,please ignore it.
