Forgot Windows Startup Password
I recently redid my user accounts on my home computer and made a new administrator account and deleted the old administrator account. I have now forgot the password I used and, because the computer was given to me by a friend, I do not have the windows xp installation stuff to fix it. I also did not create a password reset disk. My question is, How do I get past my inital startup and reset my password manually? and if i cannot do that, is there something that i can have sent to me to reinstall windows xp onto my computer and redo everything for free?signed, codys_mom_0611101 person needs an answerI do too

Start the computer in Safe mode and log into the built-in account named Administrator . You'll have to know the password, if any, for that account. Once in, go to Control Panel > User Accounts and change the password for your regular account.Boulder Computer MavenMicrosoft Most Valuable Professional
