Forgot Admin Password Win 7 Pro x64, Logged in with Fingerprint
Ok so interesting situation ive got myself into... I change my Win 7 Admin password on a whim so others would stop using my laptop... (Bad idea i know...) I forgot what I changed my password to BUT I am able to log in with my fingerprint (50% of the time, scanner is finicky)... only problem is that i CAN NOT change my admin password without my current password and it does not accept a fingerprint as current password sadly... So does anyone have a program (read: windows executable) that i can use to change and/or nuke my current admin password...? Sidenote: My C: partition is across 2 HDD's in RAID 0 so ANY AND ALL LINUX BOOTABLE IMAGES DO NOT RECOGNIZE MY WINDOWS PARTITION so please save me the time by NOT POSTING A BOOTABLE IMAGE link... Also yes i have tried to use System Restore however i do not have any restore points close enough to keep files and stuff i wanted, also trying to avoid copying everything to an external HDD and re-installing windows... Thanks!

Little Update: Was able to make a PwDump file with my PW Hash, unfortunately it is 16 characters long... So unless someone has a nuke program that i can run while logged in... =(

"net user" can change your password, or you can use the "Advanced user management" Control Panel applet to do the trick. Go to Control Panel --> User Accounts --> Manage User Accounts --> Advanced --> Advanced user management --> Advanced --> Double click on "Users" and finally right click on your account and change the password. Note that you will lose access to all EFS encrypted files and saved passwords.

I think you can through the Windows Password Recovery tool find the ways to help you reset windows password. Kind Regards.
