Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 - Forefront UAG Client Components cannot run

I have recently upgraded one of our instances of UAG up to SP3 and all went well. However, upon connecting from a Win8 (Pro) tablet, using IE in desktop mode obviously, I get the following error:

Forefront UAG client components cannot run. The script signature public key file cannot be downloaded from the server. This might affect your site experience, depending on corporate access policy

I can "Ok" past this and log in ok but this results in endpoint components not running and no subsequent access into apps that require it.

I am also running a test instance of UAG SP3 and the same device can connect fine to this instance (endpoint components install and run fine). The test box is running an identical configuration - the only difference being its name and SSL cert.

Has anyone come across this error before and have any idea how to solve it? Much appreciated.

Have you installed Rollup 1 for SP 3 yet?

I'm doing that tonight (although only because of KB2831573). Having read the notes I couldnt see any direct correlation between my issue and the bug fixes mentioned in the roll-up.

That said, I appreciate the advice and it will be interesting to see if there's an unexpected (but welcomed) side effect of this roll-up on my primary issue.

I still think I'm looking at a rebuild - I cant get away from the fact that my test instance (sans SP3 Rollup1) works perfectly from any client.

Hi Mindvor,

I have the same problem but only affects win8 clients. Win7 clients work fine.

Any progress?
