My vpn is PIA (PrivateInternetAccess) and I was wondering how I can configure Windows firewall to only allow everything to connect to the internet if it's going through the vpn. So nothing is allowed through if my vpn is disconnected. Also, would there be a way to allow my computer to still communicate with devices within my network such as wifi printers?

I'm very sorry for missing this thread. For this problem, as far as I know, another workaround method is that configure VPN on Router, this method can make sure current system apps access network through VPN.

Other methods, such as Firewall rules couldn't complete this job.

Whether you can configure only certain computers using VPN should be depends on the Router settings. I'm sorry for couldn't make testing for you. While, before you configure Router VPN, you can contact the router for more information about their product function. Maybe they could provide more valuable response.
