Hi, Thank you for your post. To provide better service to our customer, we have different specialty for different kind of issues. This forum is for Windows Vista related issues. For questions about Windows Server 2003, please submit it to Windows Server Newsgroup (http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.windows.server.active_directory&cat=en_US_09e458e2-5a48-4d89-a40f-847f472bc08e&lang=en&cr=US) so that the issue can be resolved more efficiently. Generally, you may refer to the following steps to address the requirement (I assume that all the users are not the member of Admins-related group such as Domain Admins group) 1. Create two global domain groups: Sales and Marketing on the domain. 2. Add related users to the group Sales, such as Ali, John. 3. Add related users to the group Marketing, such as Cris. 4. Grant Read permission to Everyone on the share folder documents (both the share and security permission). 5. Grant Write and Modify to the group Sales on the sub folder Sales (both the share and security permission). 6. Grant Write and Modify to the group Marketing on the sub folder Marketing (both the share and security permission). 7. Grant Write and Modify to the user Ali and Dorothy on the sub folder information (both the share and security permission). Hope it helps. Sincerely, Joson Zhou Microsoft Online Community Support
