Hi I have problem with locked folder after use (open and close) files of any type in that folder. Problem occurs on every PC in my network and on local and server storage. Steps to reproduce this problem: 1. Create folder named for example: c:\tmp\ddd 2. Run Microsoft Word and create new doc 3. save this document in c:\tmp\ddd\ as abc.doc 4. Close this document but NOT close Word 5. Now try to rename folder c:\tmp\ddd\ to c:\tmp\ddd2\ - You cannot - this is my problem Error Message says that this folder is used by some process or program I run handle.exe and i see: Handle v3.42 Copyright (C) 1997-2008 Mark Russinovich Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com WINWORD.EXE pid: 572 688: C:\tmp\a There is some lock on folder, but why ? There is no opened files in this folder, why this folder have lock ? Any suggestions how to fix this ? I know i can release this lock by command, but i am searchiing some kind of fix for my users ?
