If the Customize Tab is missing, it usually indicates that the folder cannot be changed.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP

I dont know ifI can explain this right so it makes sense but i'll give it a shot, if You are looking at a folder from symbolic link such as in a library the customize tab will not be present. this would be the case if you go to "My Documents" using the Library list in the Folder Pane of Windows Explorer. If you right click on the folder you want to customize and choose "Open Folder Location" in the context menu above properties,Click on it and it will take you too the "Real" Directory location. You can then right click the Directory name and choose "Properties", you will now see the "Customize" tab.Hope That Helps...Rex GeissingerDont forget to mark a post as an answer if it is...

Library folders do not have the Customize Tab. Hope this helps. Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP

Rex, thank you sooo much! I had personalized a bunch of music folders to show the album covers over the weekend. All of a sudden the "Customize" tab disappeared. I still have no idea what made it disappear but you showed me a different way to access it and it works! Thanks!!
