I have a server 2012 domain and have been using folder redirection successfully for about 4 months now across our domain, (predominantly Win7). My machine (Win 8 at the time) was the guinea pig and had a test GPO applied to work out the kinks of folder redirection. Once it was working perfectly, I then went ahead and applied a similar GPO to my domain users redirecting their folders to a production target destination.
I have now upgraded my machine to Win 8.1 Preview and am trying to remove the test GPO policy from my machine and apply the production GPO to my machine. However, when I went to go change the applied GPO, my event viewer fills with these events,
-------------------------------------------------------
Log Name: Application
Source: Folder Redirection
Event ID: 502
Level: Error
Notes: Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Documents" to "\\Server\Folder\UserName\Documents".
Redirection options=0x1001.
The following error occurred: "Can't create folder "\\Server\Folder\UserName\Documents"".
Error details: "The filename, directory name, or volume syntax is incorrect.
".

I can see that it is indeed incorrect, it seems to be appending a quotation mark to the end of the folder path. As a result, I cannot get my files properly redirected. thoughts?
