My company has a domain setup with folder redirection enabled. The bug shows when a user logs onto two different computers. If the user opens a picture file and saves it to a folder that is redirected and then goes and opens that same file on another computer most, if not all, the picture is distorted and shows odd colors.Yet, if I make a copy of that picturefile with the same vista machine that is distorting the picture then the copy opens fine. The problem does not happen with an XP machine. Also if I restart the machine with the issue, the problem is still there. Has anyone else noticed this problem or know how to fix it?

I figured out the problem. It has to do with our symantec anti-virus scanner. If I deselect the enable scanning under the network setting then the problem is solved.
