Folder Redirect w/o offline files -Files still unavailable after network reconnect
We're doing some testing of various Win7 profile scenarios and came across this problem. The user is set to redirection of desktop, my docs, and favorites without offline files enabled via the "do not make redirected files automatically available offline" policy. As a test, we disconnected the network from the computer and then reconnected. Unfortunately even though connectivity is restored, all the files are still listed as unavailable even when browsing to the network drive that they are stored on. Has anyone else experienced this?

Found the answer finally... for anyone else who is experiencing this issue. The problem was with permissions on the root folder share on the fileserver. The Solution: Add the following permissions for "Authenticated Users, this folder only" on the *Share*, i.e.\\FS1\UserData\Folders$: Traverse Folder/Execute File Read Attributes Read Extended Attributes Read Permissions Taken from this article: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/itprovistanetworking/thread/dc594a07-7702-4b68-acc5-17213805fec2
