Hi, I have a weird problem. My Flash drive 16gb can't run properly in my Laptop running windows 7 pro. It will read and shows the file but while using it will hang and disconnect. I tried running same flash drive on any other Laptop or desktop and it works fine. I tried using my 2gb flash and passport HDD in my laptop ang works fine without hussle. Why i can't run my 16gb Flash drive in my own laptop?

The device is a SANDISK Cruzer Flash Memory USB 16gb. I check the properties and the ready boost is OFF. Is there something todo on my system registry? Maybe something to do with some of my installed software? Can anyone give some advice that i can do?

I think Mr. Nano you answered my inquiry. In the ready boost tab even though it was by default OFF I tried to turn it on and OFF again. after that My SANDISK can now accept transfer data without any halt. Thank you...

I removed software from any Sandisk USB sticks I have so that I do not have issues. That U3 software is crap and should be removed.
