Firewall exception needed for Vista error reporting
This may be a tough one. Ido wish the Firewall logging on the Vista firewall wasbetter as that would fix all of my firewall problems. I doenablethe outbound firewall and make exceptions for programs or ports as needed. Does anyone know what program or port I would need to open to allow the Vista error reporting service to be able to communicate back to Microsoft after something crashes in Vista?Dan Heim

That info helped, but I do not want to open 443 out for all programs. I think I figured it out and added an exception for c:\Windows\System32\wercon.exe although I have not tested it yet.Dan Heim
