Firewall blocking SCCM tools on some computers
We have deployed Windows 7 to approx 150 client computers using a standard image in a domain environment. On about 5% of these computers we are not able to connect using SCCM unless we turn the firewall off. Remote desktop will work to the affected computers but when you attempt to start Remote Tools the Configuration Manager Remote Control returns the message "Unable to contact host" If we turn the fire wall off on the client computer the connection is successful. We have compared firewall settings on a working and non working computer and do not find any differences.
