Firewall
You should deny each program using the windows firewall. To do you can launch as admin cmd.exe then type firewall.cpl you will get this screen.
Then you should clik on the left to new rule, select Program and so on.Rgis BOUSSION

You cannot select a directory to block, you have to enter a .exe file extension even using a path directory.
About the way to block it depends your need, to ensure that your program does not communicate you should create this rule in both ways.Rgis BOUSSION

Hi,
You have to create one outbound rule for one program. Because the program path cannot be specified to a folder.

It seems it is about update, did you try first to check settings inside the software in order to disable the updates? you can also try to uninstall the software check the firewall rules. When you install firstly the software you should get a pop up "Do
you want to allow this software to connect ?"Rgis BOUSSION
