I had this pop up that kept coming up and I kept canceling it until it got me annoyed and accepted. Then out of no where everything stopped working. I created a new account and everything was working fine until I tired to use my firefox and it kept saying "firefox has stopped working" and same thing for my internet explorer. I even tired to open up Internet opinions on my control panel and it would say "windows host process rundll32 has stopped working". I scanned my computer and I've found 5 virus and got rid of it. Nd I still can't open firefox or internet explorer. I even went on safe mode and tired downloading Google Chrome and it wont download. Any help please. I also went on my event viewer and I had more "errors" than warning and none information. if that makes any sense. Now I'm planning to use the installation windows vista home basic to reinstall it. Would that help?

Go into safe mode with networking and download malwarebytes anti-malware. Then run a scan with it.
