I am having many problems with firefox and win7 working together. When ever i download anything of the internet in goes into not responding mode and will not allow me to even end the process in Task Manager. Any one else having this problem?

If you installed any extensions for Firefox it could be possible that one of those are not compatable with Win7 yet. First thing I would try would be to start Firefox in it's Safe Mode and see if your problems go away. If it does work correctly with extensions disabled, you could then uninstall each extension one by one until you find the one that's causing you grief. At the moment I'm running Firefox 1.5.0.12 with no problems encountered,and it's faster than the same setup I currently have under XP. Denny

I'm using FF 3.0.5 with no issues at the moment. Have you tried downloading from another site?

I think it could be down them all that is causing this promblem then. I will disable it and see how it goes
