Files wating to be written to disc
This is a common problem apparently, but in searching google, I don't find an answer.Every time I log in, a balloon pops up telling me I have files waiting to be written to cd and asking me to click on the balloon to view the files. When I do that, I am prompted to insert a cd or dvd in the drive. A window then opens up which contains no files. Even if I log on with a disc in the drive, I still get the baloon and if I click on it, I get the open window with no files. One suggestion I saw on the Internet was to disable cd writing in the device properties screens. I could see no option for this.Anybody know how to clear this messageThanks Jim McColl Submit

Have you looked in the temporary burn folder using explorer? If not, navigate to the hidden folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn\Temporary Burn Folder and deletethe folder itself.
