Files on the network's host computer are redirected through the network instead of opening from the drive
Recently I have set up a network to share files between several computers in my household but i have found all my files on the networks host computer are redirected through the network instead of opening from the drive. This means that i need to obtain permissions for access. After struggling to use this network for several day i have decided that it is more hassle than its worth and want to stop my files being redirected but don't know how. Please can some one help?

How did you set up the network? What's the kind of your network? Based on your description, I suggeset you set up a homegroup for sharing files. I use a program called Log mein Hamatchi [https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/] which creates a Mesh Virtual Private Network but since my post I have resolved the issue and have decided not to bother and now use a USB flash drive to transfer file; my internet connection wasn't fast anyway so its fasted to use portable storage devices. Thanks, Abhorsen1333
