Files are corrupted when saving to desktop
Hello, I have a weird issue. We have Documents, Desktop, and Favorites being redirected to a network drive via Group Policy. Our Desktops have Sync turned off for performance reasons. The issue is that if I download and executable from the Internet and save it to my desktop, When I try to run it it says that is corrupted. If I download the same file but save it to my Dowloads folder or any other folder that is not redirected then it works fine. I have tried several files and several computers. Is there something that I need to change?

I would like to suggest: 1. Copy the downloaded file from Desktop to other locations and run the file to see if the issue occurs, if the issue doesn't occur after copying the files to other locations, it seems that you didn't have enough permissions on Desktop folder, then you need to take ownership of the Desktop folder. Otherwise, the issue is caused by corrupted download files. 2. Try to save the downloaded files to Documents or Favorites folder and see if the issue occurs. Dale
