Hi,

All my file-names in my documents now look this "Missing Parcel (2013_06_18 08_04_17 UTC)". 

All this started with a malware infection and Norton trying to remove the problem, and after delving into the registry, which resulted in the HP Pavilion being unserviceable.   I contacted Nortons and the said that it should be an HP problem.  HP advised running the backup discs I made and then this new problem appeared.  Their advice was to manually rename the files, not an option.

I then went onto a chat line with Microsoft and advised that it was a corrupt installation file following the running of backup discs and I needed to run a "refresh".  That did not solve the issue.

Unable to find an answer on the internet, I went back to Miscrsoft and stated the problem only to be told that it's  rootkil virus and a corrupt registry.

I have run the deep scan cleaner from Nortons and all is clear.  What should be the next step?
