File isus.msi
Windows XP Home SP3 - Windows Installer keeps popping up and then going to update manager. Finally it gets to the point where the computer wants a disk and finally issues an error of 1706. The file the computer is looking for is isus.msi. Does anyone know where to find the program or file that this "isus.msi" belongs to?This started when I updated my virus prtection software.I have tried reloading all programs including the virus software on the computer. I have since reloaded the operating system and all programs. Still no help.1 person needs an answerI do too

If you did a reinstall of Windows, that was a drastic and unnecessary step. In addition, if you really did do a Windows reinstall, you evidently re-created the problem when you reinstalled your antivirus application and updated it. For reference (so other may know what to avoid), what antivirus application do you have?
