File copying issue in windows7
Hi, There is the file exists in the shared folder (different network). I mapped that shared folder to x:\ drive of the windows7 system. I tried manual copy of the file (copy + paste) from x:\ to c:\, it alerted me and once i allowed to copy the file, file saved into c:\ of windows7 system. I created the batch file contains the copy command to copy the file from shared folder(x:\) to c: of windows7 system, it shows access denied and file not copied. I tried executed the batch file with 'Run as Administrator' also, but failed to copy the file. Please find the below command inside the batch file. copy x:\testfolder\testfile.txt c:\testfile.txt where x: is mapped to the shared folder in the network, c:\ is the destination drive of the windows7 system. please suggest the solution for this. Thanks in Advance.

Hi Ravikumar.S, I tested the issue and it worked properly without the error. Considering the current situation, please change the share folder permission to Everyone and then disable User Account Control (UAC) on Windows 7 to see if the issue can be resolved. For more information about UAC, please refer to: Guided Help: Adjust User Account Control settings in Windows 7 Turn User Account Control on or off Also, if there is any security software such as Norton or McAfee installed, please temporary disable or uninstall it to see if the issue occurs. Hope this helps. Regards, Linda Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
