Thank you for your reply. I'll change my question as follows:The computer C is used by my son. The computer A and B are used by me. The sharing files between the computer A and B must not be accessed by the computer C. There is no sharing files between the C and the A/B. How to configure the file sharing exception of the computer A and B?

If computers A and B have Windows XP Professional please see the article Windows XP Professional File Sharing by Ron Lowe and me. It describes how to restrict access to shared files based on user accounts. That method isn't available if A and B have Windows XP Home Edition. In that case:Run the Network Setup Wizard on A and B and tell it to turn file and printer sharing on. That should be all you have to do to allow them to share files. To check up on it, or to configure it yourself, go to Control Panel > Windows Firewall and:Un-check the Don't allow exceptions box. Click the Exceptions tab and put a check mark in the File and Printer Sharing box.If A and B have Windows XP Home Edition, preventing C from accessing files on A and B is harder. You can run the Network Setup Wizard on C and tell it to turn file and printer sharing off, but I just did some tests and that doesn't seem to be enough. In addition to that:Press WindowsKey+R , type ncpa.cpl in the box, and click OK .Right-click the Local Area Connection or Wireless Network Connection that C uses to connect to the network.Click Properties . Un-check the boxes for Client for Microsoft Networks and File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks . Boulder Computer Maven Microsoft Most Valuable Professional
