File Block??? Help???
OS: VISTAMessage: Windows found that the file is potentially harmful. To help protect your computer, windows has blocked acces to this file.I have looked this up in google, I saw something about GPO. I didn't understand anything about the GPO. I saw something on a page called "Vista Blocked File Protection Control". One of the solutions was going to run, entering GPEDIT.MSC. GPEDIT.MSC didn't work, it said I might have entered it wrong. It isn't in my computer. Then, I saw on a webpage telling you how to access your GPO if you have Home Edition, it told me to go into my regedit, and do something with that. I did exactly what it said, it didn't work. Can someone give me instructions on how to fix this. I am trying to run an exe. file that a friend gave to me via windows live messanger, and this problem is blocking me. Please help?Regards,iGamer.

Hi,Why do you want to run it if Windows tells you it's potentially harmfull? Don't you know that friends can send you viruses over IM and not even know it?

I should have thought about that. I just thought it was one of those stupid Vista false alarms and I was trying to bypass it. Thank you!
