Few sites are not loading
I recently moved from Windows XP to Windows 7 Enterprise for my Lenovo ThinkPad W520. Now I am unable to access some sites: yahoo, msn,
support.microsoft.com, etc. from home where I have a DSL connection. Things are fine from office. Things were fine from home over dsl when I was
using XP. I have Symantec AntiVirus and I had this even with XP. I don't understand why some sites don't load over DSL alone.
Any pointers?

Hello,
Please disable all security softwares you have and check again.
Also, make sure that you are pointing to your ISP DNS server as primary DNS server.

Hi,
Could you please provide the detailed error message (such as the website cannot display the page) for our further research? Also, what kind of the browser you are using? If you are using
the third party browser, please try to use the Internet Explorer to test the issue.
Meanwhile, please try the following steps:
1. Temporarily turn off the Symantec Anti-virus and firewall to check again
2. Click start, type ping
www.yahoo.com (without quotes) to check what message received
3. Check whether there is a firewall configuration on the DSL, if so, please collect it for us to narrow down the root casue
Hope it helps.
