Fax and Scan stops responding when sending a fax
I am trying to send a fax from a domain fax device via a Win7x64 client, but the New Fax form stalls out when I push send, and says "submitting fax to job queue." The New Fax form stalls for 3 to 5 minutes before sending the fax out. So the fax does send, but it takes forever. I am trying to send a large number of faxes on a regular basis, so this is an unacceptable situation. I have tried sending faxes to different numbers, restarting the fax service, disabling and re-enabling the Fax and Scan feature and even rebuilding my user profile. Also, other computers on the domain can send faxes with out this delay. None of these steps have had an effect. Any advice?

1. Look into Event log for any trace 2. If I understand the situation correctly, there is centralized fax server/device that is not local to . Place you question to fax vendor's support community. Look into fax log file. 3. You can catch communication between clients and scan device. Rgds Milos

Contact fax manufacture support for assistance. Meanwhile, you may check the system event logs, and temporarily disable the firewall for test. Have a try to check it on the clean boot environment.
