Fake Microsoft Security Essentials(But it is quite not same as fake ones condition in Support Centre)
I am using my mother's PC to play Internet games. But, when I am running IE8, the (maybe fake) Microsoft Windows Essentials came out and do a scan. It scans whole C:\Windows content. After scan, I open C:\Windows to find the C:\Windows\$hf_mig$(or maybe $h_mig$,something like that). But I cannot found that directory. The software wants me to do an advanced scan, which can be done by paying USD49.95 for 3 yrs license. Except this, the software non stop saying Windows Live Messenger and Windows Messenger got Trojan, blah blah blah. I quickly clicking the red cross(close) button. When I am anger about that software, I quickly press "Start" and double type "U"(which can shut down the PC). I reopen my mom's PC but the software still there, blocking me operating my mom's computer. So, I took out the battery of my mom's computer and shut off the AC plugin. I open my mom's computer again and use another user, but the software doesn't appear. I make this report because I want to know how to make off the software, without deleting user accounts.PS: Is it the Win32/(maybe PAX or what) rogue? If no, tell me the solution ASAP, if not I cannot use my mom's user.(Many games record inside it)PS:It's not PC, is laptop(typing error :D). My father says that my mom's laptop(genuine one) no need to install such software.
