Failing to find network drive location?
I am running windows 7 Ultimate and use my laptop at work to do a lot of work which requires software the office doesnt have. All the other computers are Windows XP and OS X snow leopard, and we share a network drive, which works fine on both the macs and xp machines, however even knowing the location of the drive i cannot map it in windows 7, i cannot even see the other pcs on the network, even though they can see me, when i boot into ubuntu i have no problems accessing it, so its all set up correct. I have trawled these forums and google and as of yet found no answers... if anyone could help i would be most greatful!

You could try to force the use of SMB 1.0 to see if the problem is resolved. sc config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/nsi sc config mrxsmb20 start= disabled Note there's an extra " " (space) after the "=" sign. To re-enable SMB 2.0 run the following commands: sc config lanmanworkstation depend= bowser/mrxsmb10/mrxsmb20/nsi sc config mrxsmb20 start= auto Again, note there's an extra " " (space) after the "=" sign.
