Hi, I had similar issue: <08-29-2012 00:52:16> Installing the SMSMP <08-29-2012 00:52:16> Passed OS version check. <08-29-2012 00:52:16> IIS Service is installed. <08-29-2012 00:52:16> checking WebDAV configuraitons <08-29-2012 00:52:17> Failed to get WebDAV settings on the machine (0x80070003) <08-29-2012 00:54:41> ==================================================================== I was able to solve it: 1) Uninstall Webdav. 2) Install Webdav from Server Manager -> Features 3) Go to Server Manager -> Roles -> Web Server (IIS) -> Internet Information Services (IIS) Management Click Sites -> Default Web Site -> Enable WebDAV 4) Add Authoring Rule 5) Do WebDAV Authoring Rules 6) Restart World Wide Web and SMS Site Componenet Management service.
